Blogging tips for our authors:
- Always leave one line space between paragraphs. This makes your post easier to read.
- Write posts between 200-600 words long. Try not to go over 800 words as most people prefer short blog posts.
- Always sign your posts. Ex. Author Name, 'author of Book Title'...and link author name to your website.
- Add URLs to your posts. Add them to the body here and there; not too many though, you don't want people leaving your post early. Be sure to add your website link at the bottom in your signature line.
- ALWAYS proofread your post before publishing it.
- ALWAYS proof the actual post after you've published it. Check to make sure lines and spaces are correct.
- Invite people at the end of your post to leave you a comment. This engages the reader, makes them active and they enjoy that.
Over the next few weeks, we will be adding some tips and instructions here to help our authors become acquainted with how to blog here and how to add videos. Please be patient with us.
